Das Gymnasium Gonsenheim ist ein staatliches Gymnasium in Trägerschaft der Stadt Mainz.

Unsere Schwerpunkte

  • Das GyGo ist G8/GTS Gymnasium seit dem Schuljahr 2008/09.
  • Die Schule für Hochbegabtenförderung / Internationale Schule ist am GyGo angesiedelt.
  • Ein Schwerpunkt ist MINT:  Mathematik - Informatik - Naturwissenschaft - Technik. Das GyGo ist Mitglied im Verein MINT-EC.
  • Als 1. Fremdsprache bieten wir Englisch oder Französisch im bilingualen Zug an, die 2. Fremdsprache (ab Klasse 6) ist Französisch oder Latein, im bilingualen Zug Englisch; die 3. Fremdsprache (freiwillig ab Klasse 8) ist Latein oder Französisch oder Spanisch; außerdem wird Italienisch in der Oberstufe als 3-std. Grundfach angeboten.
  • Der bilinguale Zug mit der 1. Fremdsprache Französisch ist eine Besonderheit unserer Schule und bietet die Möglichkeit das französische Baccalauréat zu erwerben..
  • Wir pflegen Austauschkontakte zu Schulen in Frankreich, Großbritannien, Italien und den Vereinigten Staaten.
  • Das GyGo nimmt seit 1997 erfolgreich am Projekt "KESch" (Klimaschutz durch Energiesparen an Schulen) teil.
  • In der 10. Klasse findet ein zweiwöchiges Betriebspraktikum (auch in Frankreich oder England) statt.

The Gymnasium Gonsenheim is a state school, funded by the City of Mainz

Main features
  • The GyGo is now a so-called G8/GTS school, which means that students can graduate after 8 years already.
  • The opportunity to attend an all-day school in classes 5-7 is available at the Gymnasium Gonsenheim
  • The school is a recognised centre for teaching gifted pupils and also has an international school
  • Our bilingual section is a particularly noteworthy feature of our school which offers the opportunity of getting the French 'baccalauréat'.
  • In year 5, pupils choose either English or French as their first foreign language.
  • From year 6, those pupils who are taking English can choose either French or Latin as their second foreign language; those taking French in the "bilinguale Zug" must take English.
  • From year 9, it is possible to study the remaining language as a third foreign language; in addition, we offer Italian in years 11 to 13 and Chinese from year 8 on.
  • We offer exchanges with schools in England, France, Ireland, Italy, and the USA.
  • Since 1992 we have been using new teaching methods in years 5 and 6.
  • MINT - From year 5 we offer special courses in the fields of Maths,Natural Sciences and IT.
  • GyGo (as we like to call ourselves) is also taking part in the "KESch" project (Klimaschutz durch Energiesparen anSchulen - an environmental project promoting energy efficiency in schools) and we are actively engaged in cleaning up the Gonsbach (the river which gives our school its name).
  • In year ten, each pupil has the opportunity to take part in a work experience scheme for one or two weeks, also in France or England.

Le Lycée de Mainz-Gonsenheim est un lycée d'Etat placé sous la tutelle de la ville de Mayence.

Nos particularités
  • Le lycée de Mainz-Gonsenheim offre aux élèves intéressés des classes de 5e, 6e et 7e un enseignement à temps complet.
  • Le lycée de Mainz-Gonsenheim accueille l’école destinée aux enfants intellectuellement précoces et à section internationale.
  • La section bilingue franco-allemande avec le français comme première langue étrangère est une particularité de notre établissement et offre aux élèves la possibilité d’obtenir l’Abi-Bac (double diplôme Abitur-Baccalauréat).
  • Possibilité de choisir l'anglais ou le francais comme 1ère langue étrangère à partir de la classe de 5e.
    Français ou latin comme seconde langue étrangère à partir de la classe de 6e pour les élèves ayant choisi l'anglais en 1ère langue. L'anglais comme seconde langue étrangère pour les élèves de la section bilingue franco-allemande.
  • Latin et français sont proposés comme 3e langue étrangère à partir de la classe de 9e en cours facultatif.
  • Italien à raison de 3 heures par semaine comme discipline supplémentaire dans le second cycle.
  • Enseignement du chinois à partir de la classe de 8e sous forme de groupe de travail.
  • Partenariats et échanges scolaires avec des établissements en France, en Grande-Bretagne, en Italie et aux Etats-Unis.
  • Depuis 1992, introduction de nouvelles formes de cours: entraînement aux méthodes et techniques de travail, réalisation de projets.
  • MINT
  • Participation de l'établissement au projet écologique "KESch" (protection du climat grace á l'économie d'énergie dans les établissements scolaires) et prise en charge de la protection de la rivière du Gonsbach dans le cadre d'un partenariat.
  • Stages de deux semaines en entreprises en classe de 10e, également possibles en France et en Grande-Bretagne.

Il Liceo Gonsenheim è un liceo statale della città di Mainz (Magonza).

I nostri punti principali
  • Il GyGo offre agli alunni delle classi 5-7 la possibilità di fare scuola a tempo pieno (il pomeriggio da lunedì a giovedì).
  • La Scuola per Superdotati / Scuola Internazionale fa parte della nostra scuola.
  • La sezione bilingue con il francese come prima lingua è una particolarità della nostra scuola e offre la possibilità di sostenere l'esame di maturità francese,il "Baccalauréat".
  • Dalla 5 a classe si può scegliere come prima lingua straniera l’inglese o il francese nella sezione bilingue. Dalla 6 a classe la seconda lingua straniera è il francese o il latino , nella sezione bilingue l´inglese . La terza lingua straniera facoltativa a partire dalla 9 a classe è il latino o il francese . Inoltre vengono offerti l´italiano negli ultimi tre anni di liceo come corso base di tre ore la settimana e il cinese come "AG" (gruppo di lavoro pomeridiano) a partire dall´ 8 a classe.
  • Curiamo scambi scolastici con la Francia, l´Inghilterra, l´Italia e gli Stati Uniti d´America.
  • Vengono praticate nuove forme d´insegnamento già dal 1992 nelle classi d´orientamento (5 e 6): allenamento di metodi d´insegnamento per insegnanti e di apprendimento per scolari; l´elaborazione di progetti.
  • MINT: elemento fondamentale matematico-scientifico del nostro liceo dall'anno scolastico 2001/2002.
  • Il Liceo Gonsenheim partecipa con successo dal 1997 al progetto "KESch" (Salvaguardia del clima attraverso il risparmio energetico nelle scuole) e ha assunto il patrocino del ruscello Gonsbach.
  • Nella 10 classe ha luogo lo stage in azienda di una o due settimane (anche in Francia o in Inghilterra).
  • Per gli amanti della carta stampata abbiamo a disposizione un opuscolo informativo che puó sempre essere richiesto.
